Although leadership may not be as stiff or structured compared to the leadership we matured with, there is still a need for leadership and somebody needs to take charge.

Both my herd leaders are really smart horses but then so are many of the others. At the bottom of each herd are Snowman and Sugar - two of the most smart horses I have actually ever worked with. They will never be herd leaders here but they understand how to silently take care of their own survival needs.
